• Split-Type Design: The meter itself is installed separately from the Customer Interface Unit (CIU), which houses the keypad. This allows the user to operate the meter without needing to access the main unit directly.
• Tamper Protection: The device includes robust anti-tamper features, such as magnetic field protection, to prevent fraud and protect utility revenue.
• M-Pesa Integration: The vending software is integrated with M-Pesa, making it convenient for customers to purchase recharge tokens using mobile money.
• Information Display: The keypad on the CIU is used to enter recharge tokens and to check various information, such as credit balance, using short codes.
